We're do I start, suddenly we lost our precious dad on 30/07/2024, Delony were absolutely amazing from start to finish, they gave our dad the most perfect send off,they were very caring and supportive at this devastating time. I would like to thank Julie, John and the team for there compassion and professionalism, also a massive thank you for showing our dad's life at the church which made everyone cry and laugh.

Another fantastic service of John Delanoy and Julie from Delanoy Funeral Services myself and 3 other family members been up to durham crematorium for a direct cremation of a uncle although it was only a direct cremation it's what the deceased wanted no fuss.John brought him up in the hearse other company's where just coming in cars or vans walked him into the crematorium put flowers and photo on the coffin at no extra cost and let us even sit with our uncle for couple of mins and played music absolutely fantastic service from them.x

Absolutely beautiful service John and Julie provided for my dad they were so supportive and caring and helped my carry out dad's wishes. They really do care and support you at one of the worst times I would like too thank then for everything and I would highly recommend Delanoy Funeral Services

We cannot thank John, Julie and their staff enough for all their help, kindness, compassion and understanding. They helped make a very heartbreaking time a little easier. Natalie’s pink coffin was beautiful and just what we wanted for her and the pink ties worn by John and Julie were a lovely, unexpected addition. We were also touched by the lovely post on their Facebook page, helping to share our sad news.

They took the time to really listen and understand what we wanted, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about every detail. Seeing my mam in the chapel was both emotional and comforting — she looked absolutely beautiful, and her hair was done to perfection. That meant so much to us.

My family cannot speak highly enough of the kind, caring and empathetic service Delanoy Funeral Services provided to us all following the death of our beloved mam. The service and support provided was faultless from the moment they were contacted until the day of the funeral. Julie and John at Delanoy knew that mam was a long-standing Sunderland AFC ticket holder who followed the club home and away. Knowing how much the club meant to her, on the day before her funeral, Delanoy took her on one last trip to the Stadium of Light and made a beautiful short video of the visit. This was entirely at the behest of John and Julie and was a wonderful and emotional surprise for the whole family. It meant so much to us all. Mam would have been so thrilled and delighted. Thank you John and Julie. You are a credit to your profession.

As a family we truly can’t thank John & Julie enough for the service they have provided for us. From the day my dad passed right up until his send off they’ve treated both ourselves and my dad with the utmost respect. Their professionalism is second to none. They’ve shown great empathy and consideration throughout the most difficult time of our lives and for that we will forever be grateful. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them and they’ve guided us every step of the way, the send off they gave my dad would have been exactly what he wanted which we have found great comfort in whilst grieving such a huge loss. My mother died late March and Delanoy did a beautiful and dignified funeral I would recommend them as being the best in the area
