I want to say a big massive thank you to John and Julie and the team at Delaney funeral services. From start to finish they couldn’t do enough for us. Julie and john are professional, caring , compassion people, they went above and beyond for my family when we lost my wife Marie Robson on the 4th June 2022. They respected her wishes of a direct cremation and they where there every step through the process.

My family & I can't thank John & Julie enough for their support & guidance at such a devastating time. Their professionalism, along with their caring & respectful approach was exactly what our family needed in dealing with the loss of my father. Thank you both for helping us through the process, words can not express how grateful we are.

My father recently died and Delanoys were our first choice for acting as our funeral partners. I use funeral partners rather than funeral directors because John and Julie involved the family at every step of the funeral planning. No detail was too small for them to step in and take care of, to provide the smoothest and most unobtrusive service we could possibly expect.

Delanoys don't take centre stage in the funeral, the family do; Delanoys make sure that everything is taken care of so that the family have nothing to worry about. Nothing is left to chance and the level of planning ensures the funeral is as smooth as possible, and their local knowledge and local contacts eases the pressure at an incredibly stressful time.

I can’t find enough words to convey how appreciative we are for the arrangements Delanoy have made for Jim’s passing and funeral. They managed to turn what could have been a sad, mournful day, into a massive celebration of his life. There WERE tears, but the entire day was filled with love and happy memories, all carried out with exceptional organisation.
Losing a partner is very difficult and Jim’s passing WAS expected, and dreaded, but from walking into Delanoy’s office, on that Wednesday, talking to John and Julie, our heartache eased. We were given advice on how to deal with a death, who we needed to notify, etc.
Little did we know that we would be needing John and Julie again - at midnight that very same day. Again, they were there, guiding, listening, waiting, giving comfort to a grieving family. Every step of the process we were kept informed as to what to do, what to expect.
We can’t thank the Delanoy staff enough for the help given on that day and the following three weeks, culminating into a carefully planned, wonderful send off for Jim. You and your staff are to be commended. Everyone at the funeral service said what a joyous occasion you had arranged.

My son sadly passed away 22 June this year after a long fight with cancer aged 2 years it was the most devastating time we have had to go through. First class service . John goes above and beyond with his care ,support a d sympathetic approach , nothing is to much trouble. I will never forget the kindness he showed us during our bereavement , he sorted everything, from collecting our loved one to organising the funeral, flowers , service , food taking all the stress from the Family ,we didnt have to think about anything. Then beyond that arranging the burial of my Brothers ashes and arranging for his plaque to be made . John spoke to us every day not only to check on arrangements but to check in on how we were . I’ve been meaning to leave this review for a long time but like everything life got in the way. Even though it was over a year ago now we have not forgotten how kindly we were treated. We cannot thank John and Delanoys enough for the compassion, care and guidance he gave us as a family when my Dad suddenly passed away. Especially as it happened while on holiday in Blackpool. With the added worry of getting his body home and the red tape involved, John guided us through the process.
