from the moment Delanoy's involvement began, just a few short hours after our adored Nana had peacefully passed away surrounded by love, to the time for saying a final goodbye at the funeral, everybody at Delanoys treated nana with the utmost dignity and respect. 3 years ago Delanoys provided their service for my mothers funeral and back then their service was excellent, both John and Julie provided a beautiful send off for her.
On the 14th November this year we said our goodbyes to my father and John and Julie were there to give a personal send off.
From the moment we set off it was exactly as I could imagine my father would have wanted, the little touches that they made were so lovely and thoughtful.
Myself and my family would like to thank John and Julie but also to all the staff who were very courteous, friendly and professional.
It was a difficult day but went very smoothly thanks to Delanoys funeral services.

My father recently died and Delanoys were our first choice for acting as our funeral partners. I use funeral partners rather than funeral directors because John and Julie involved the family at every step of the funeral planning. No detail was too small for them to step in and take care of, to provide the smoothest and most unobtrusive service we could possibly expect.

Delanoys don't take centre stage in the funeral, the family do; Delanoys make sure that everything is taken care of so that the family have nothing to worry about. They went above and beyond and made us feel like they genuinely cared for us. They were always just a text away to answer the miriad of questions we had and to include extra things to the service. The tribute video that julie made was brilliant and made sure my dad got the send off he deserved. They made our worst day as lovely as possible and we as a family will never forget it. Delanoy Funeral Services provided truly exceptional care during such a difficult time for our family. From the very beginning, they were kind, patient, and incredibly compassionate, which made a world of difference to us.

They took the time to really listen and understand what we wanted, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about every detail. Seeing my mam in the chapel was both emotional and comforting — she looked absolutely beautiful, and her hair was done to perfection. That meant so much to us.

This morning, we said goodbye to Mark Jepson “Jeppa” a much loved and dedicated Sunderland supporter.

Mark sadly passed away just two months after losing his mother, and we felt it was only right to give him a memorable send-off that was personal to him and reflected the love so many had for him.

I am so sorry to hear this. Marilyn and I would occasionally text each other. She would keep me informed of the happenings in England. She always thought of other folks.
