Julie and John and their team made us feel like we where family and they where ours been completely compassionate to us losing a daughter and sister they went above and beyond to help us grieve despite having problems to bring a loved one home they went to end the earth to make everything we wished for come true to send our beloved Becca off in the most special way we could have imagined full of dignity and respect a truly beautiful day for a beautiful soul made special by incredible people we will forever hold you both close in our hearts thank you from all the family of Becca luke xx

Today we said farewell to our dad. Julie and John navigated us through the whole process and the day itself so professionally and with such empathy. We cannot thank them enough and we highly recommend Delanoy Funeral Services. X

From the moment I informed John and Julie of Emma’s death they came into our lives and showed us how wonderful caring and compassionate they were. Nothing was too much trouble no question went unanswered no matter what time of the day and night and no matter where they were even when I interrupted their free time. The Ideas and details they put forward to us were to make this a celebration of her life and were carried out to the letter. This made it the most perfect send off anyone could ask for. The work that Julie put into the video and the extra touches will stay with us forever and no request was to big or small. John was the strong calm influence who smiled at me through my anxious outbursts and sometimes requests which were not sensible or practical. The arms of both of these people encircled our family the whole time and they gave us strength to face each day and never to feel alone. All of this we never envisaged and there are no words or deeds than can ever really be enough thanks.

John, Julie and the whole team did an amazing job for my husbands funeral. From start to finish they handled everything. I would highly recommend them. Thank you for all your support and making the funeral go so smoothly. Their service is excellent

3 years ago Delanoys provided their service for my mothers funeral and back then their service was excellent, both John and Julie provided a beautiful send off for her.
On the 14th November this year we said our goodbyes to my father and John and Julie were there to give a personal send off.
From the moment we set off it was exactly as I could imagine my father would have wanted, the little touches that they made were so lovely and thoughtful.
Myself and my family would like to thank John and Julie but also to all the staff who were very courteous, friendly and professional.
It was a difficult day but went very smoothly thanks to Delanoys funeral services.

Another fantastic service of John Delanoy and Julie from Delanoy Funeral Services myself and 3 other family members been up to durham crematorium for a direct cremation of a uncle although it was only a direct cremation it's what the deceased wanted no fuss.John brought him up in the hearse other company's where just coming in cars or vans walked him into the crematorium put flowers and photo on the coffin at no extra cost and let us even sit with our uncle for couple of mins and played music absolutely fantastic service from them.x

Julie Stout at Delanoy Funeral Services couldn't have made Daves last journey home any better, the time and effort to make his funeral beautiful I can't thank you enough you have gone beyond anyone else, you even took the flowers with us and put them on Dave's mam and dad's grave so they have both their boy's now Chris and Dave. You gave us all a memorable day that thanks to modern technology we can look back on and not in a morbid way, so thank you all again Julie, John, the drivers, Holly, Mark Price, Diane Fairburn and everyone who braved the weather to see him off on his last journey thank you, thank you, thank you. The service from the team at Delanoy Funeral Services was superb from the initial contact right up to the actual service. The courtesy and dignity displayed throughout was second to none. They went above and beyond to create a celebration of my dad's life, encapsulating every aspect of it in a beautiful way, including a beautiful video tribute, which was well met by everyone who attended. They also looked after us ensuring we didn't have to do anything, as it was all looked after for us, allowing us to be part of the service and allowing us to grieve, in our own way, and say goodbye.

My father passed away on the 10th of April he had a pre paid funeral plan which made my life so much easier at a terrible time. John and Julie were absolutely amazing through out the whole process and did not falter. They rang me text me and visited through out the whole process. Their attention to detail was amazing. When you are in such a vulnerable place you need someone to rely on and trust. John and Julie were those people, I felt comforted and safe under their care. My dad would have been so grateful for their support as am I.
