Our family would like to thank Delanoy Funeral Services for the care they gave organising my Gran's Funeral, Mary Smith. Throughout the whole process, John and Julie were kind and considerate and were readily available to talk through arrangements and give advice. Nothing troubled them. They responded positively to all our family requests and their sensitive approach and attention to detail was greatly appreciated. On the day of the funeral, they and their team were highly supportive. Their dignity, expertise and professionalism shone through. In the midst of our bereavement and sadness they were definitely the right people to have alongside. Another fantastic service of John Delanoy and Julie from Delanoy Funeral Services myself and 3 other family members been up to durham crematorium for a direct cremation of a uncle although it was only a direct cremation it's what the deceased wanted no fuss.John brought him up in the hearse other company's where just coming in cars or vans walked him into the crematorium put flowers and photo on the coffin at no extra cost and let us even sit with our uncle for couple of mins and played music absolutely fantastic service from them.x

The service and support provided was faultless from the moment they were contacted until the day of the funeral. Julie and John at Delanoy knew that mam was a long-standing Sunderland AFC ticket holder who followed the club home and away. Knowing how much the club meant to her, on the day before her funeral, Delanoy took her on one last trip to the Stadium of Light and made a beautiful short video of the visit. This was entirely at the behest of John and Julie and was a wonderful and emotional surprise for the whole family. It meant so much to us all. Mam would have been so thrilled and delighted. Thank you John and Julie. You are a credit to your profession.

Delanoy Funeral Services provided truly exceptional care during such a difficult time for our family. From the very beginning, they were kind, patient, and incredibly compassionate, which made a world of difference to us.

They took the time to really listen and understand what we wanted, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about every detail. Seeing my mam in the chapel was both emotional and comforting — she looked absolutely beautiful, and her hair was done to perfection. That meant so much to us.
