John and Julie helped my family and I through the toughest time of our lives. From day 1 they were kind, caring, compassionate although very professional. We unexpectedly and very sadly lost my brother in May and the time he spent in the hands of Delanoy’s I know he was treated with respect and love, John went above and beyond for us as a family when visiting my brother with a little touch of spraying his aftershave in the viewing area which brought great comfort to me and my family. We cannot repay John and Julie for the amazing service provided throughout and the constant communication at any time of day which is extremely helpful for a grieving family, nothing is a bother to them. I would wholeheartedly recommend Delanoy Funeral services. Thank you again x

There simply aren’t the words to express our Thanks to Julie & John. Over the past month Delanoys have gone above & beyond to ensure our Dad’s wishes were honoured. Dad was treated with dignity & the empathy shown towards us simply could not be matched. The knowledge & care whilst arranging our Dads final journey was a huge comfort knowing if Dad was here, it would have received his approval. A very local and personable service at emotional time. Different options were shared which helped fill me with assurance. The actual time at the crematorium was as we discussed and the service was undertaken with passion and dignity.

Another fantastic service of John Delanoy and Julie from Delanoy Funeral Services myself and 3 other family members been up to durham crematorium for a direct cremation of a uncle although it was only a direct cremation it's what the deceased wanted no fuss.John brought him up in the hearse other company's where just coming in cars or vans walked him into the crematorium put flowers and photo on the coffin at no extra cost and let us even sit with our uncle for couple of mins and played music absolutely fantastic service from them.x

A fantastic experience in what were obviously difficult circumstances for us. Right from the start, Delanoy were at our side. They made the process so much easier. Nothing was too much trouble. We cannot thank them enough for their support and love throughout.

During your saddest times Julie and John are the people you need. Julie’s incredible and genuine warmth and John’s quiet, reassuring professionalism will navigate you through this awful time. Nothing is too much trouble and no question is too silly. Always contactable you’re made to feel like you’re their only priority. We felt so fortunate to have found them and to have been able to entrust our mum to them. Everything was so beautifully, tastefully and respectfully orchestrated. We could not have been more pleased with how the day went and we cannot thank them enough.

During the most difficult day of our lives, Delanoy provided a professional and dignified service. They provided empathy, compassion, and respect to the family.

Working with John and Julie, we were able to add the details we wanted to give Marie a beautiful sendoff she deserved. We were able to mourn and say goodbye in the way we wanted. When we had any questions, both provided important knowledge and expertise.
