I could not rate Delanoy Funeral Services highly enough. The service they provided my family in preparation for my Dad's funeral was exemplary. Julie and John went above and beyond to make our sad occasion more bearable. I would recommend them to everyone.

My partner david got taken to Sunderland Royal hospital and passed away on the 20th July with cancer he hadn't had it very long but we all knew how bad he was getting the service john and julie gave for david was above and beyond the kindness they showed me and my family at the sad time the celebrant with her kind words also the roses gone on David's hearse.Hes now laid to rest and not in pain

Delanoys were so sensitive in organising our Mam’s funeral. Julie and John are easy to trust. At a time when it is hard to think clearly, they take away the worry and stress by stepping you through what needs to happen. They listened and responded with tasteful suggestions. The service from the team at Delanoy Funeral Services was superb from the initial contact right up to the actual service. The courtesy and dignity displayed throughout was second to none. They went above and beyond to create a celebration of my dad's life, encapsulating every aspect of it in a beautiful way, including a beautiful video tribute, which was well met by everyone who attended. They also looked after us ensuring we didn't have to do anything, as it was all looked after for us, allowing us to be part of the service and allowing us to grieve, in our own way, and say goodbye.

The future arrived, we lost our mum in January and immediately contacted Julie and John. Once again they were superb. My mum got a fabulous send off, as good as, if not better than my dad's. The loss of a loved one is extremely hard but it helps if you receive care and support at this time. In this regard, as a family, we were so grateful for the help of John and Julie. They guided us through the process and came up with useful suggestions on setting up the funeral arrangements. Everyone we spoke to afterwards were complimentary on the service, in particular, the video of a life well spent by dad (jack).
