Julie's video tribute to Ron was perfect. A touching tribute to him, which he'd have loved. Julie was so innovative and imaginative in producing something with unexpected touches throughout.
This was the first experience I have personally had with Delanoy's but my mother has family ties with the company going back generations, so we knew they were a long-established and well respected company.

During your saddest times Julie and John are the people you need. Julie’s incredible and genuine warmth and John’s quiet, reassuring professionalism will navigate you through this awful time. Nothing is too much trouble and no question is too silly. Always contactable you’re made to feel like you’re their only priority. We felt so fortunate to have found them and to have been able to entrust our mum to them. Everything was so beautifully, tastefully and respectfully orchestrated. We could not have been more pleased with how the day went and we cannot thank them enough.

We would like to thank John, Julie & their wonderful team for everything they done for us during the worst time of our lives. It is obvious how much they care & their attention to detail is unmatched. They gave our beautiful Mam/Nana the best send off and we are eternally grateful. We could not have asked for more.

There simply aren’t the words to express our Thanks to Julie & John. Over the past month Delanoys have gone above & beyond to ensure our Dad’s wishes were honoured. Dad was treated with dignity & the empathy shown towards us simply could not be matched. The knowledge & care whilst arranging our Dads final journey was a huge comfort knowing if Dad was here, it would have received his approval. The service from the team at Delanoy Funeral Services was superb from the initial contact right up to the actual service. The courtesy and dignity displayed throughout was second to none. They went above and beyond to create a celebration of my dad's life, encapsulating every aspect of it in a beautiful way, including a beautiful video tribute, which was well met by everyone who attended. They also looked after us ensuring we didn't have to do anything, as it was all looked after for us, allowing us to be part of the service and allowing us to grieve, in our own way, and say goodbye.

My family cannot speak highly enough of the kind, caring and empathetic service Delanoy Funeral Services provided to us all following the death of our beloved mam. The service and support provided was faultless from the moment they were contacted until the day of the funeral. Julie and John at Delanoy knew that mam was a long-standing Sunderland AFC ticket holder who followed the club home and away. Knowing how much the club meant to her, on the day before her funeral, Delanoy took her on one last trip to the Stadium of Light and made a beautiful short video of the visit. This was entirely at the behest of John and Julie and was a wonderful and emotional surprise for the whole family. It meant so much to us all. Mam would have been so thrilled and delighted. Thank you John and Julie. You are a credit to your profession.

Speaking on behalf of all my family aswell as myself from the moment I called Julie to let her know that my mother had sadly passed away after a very short illness that shocked us all I knew I was dealing with a very caring and compassionate lady.
Our minds were definitely put at ease as I’ve never had to deal with anything like this before.
Both John & Julie kept us informed letting us know every step of the way from collecting my mother from the hospital and preparing her for us to visit her in the chapel of rest and She looked absolutely amazing.
The floral tributes we chose were absolutely beautiful and Julie gave us various options to choose from and excellent advice on what to go for and what not to go for.
On the day of the funeral the cars all turned up and we’re absolutely gleaming and john & Julie came over shook our hands and gave us some lovely calming words and loving smiles which made us feel comfortable knowing that we were celebrating the life of mam.
