From the moment we engaged Delanoy Funeral Services the attention given to us as a family was not only professional but personal. Throughout the entire process John and Julie supported us beyond what we could have ever expected. There was no question too big or too small. Every detail was impeccable from the passing of Fred to laying him to rest. The personal touches given by John and Julie put us all at ease - they went above and beyond especially on the day of the funeral, making sure every element was perfect.
The effort in the background ensured that we had nothing to worry about as we could trust it was all being dealt with which took a lot of the worry away in what was a very difficult time for us as a family. The flowers were all just perfect, the order of service exactly as we requested and on the day of the funeral we could not have asked for anything more.
From the bottom of our hearts we will be forever grateful of the amazing support and service.

Delanoys were so sensitive in organising our Mam’s funeral. Julie and John are easy to trust. At a time when it is hard to think clearly, they take away the worry and stress by stepping you through what needs to happen. They listened and responded with tasteful suggestions. They keep in touch and are very clear on what you do and don’t need to think about. In the end, we had the most wonderful day which celebrated Mam’s life with all the people who knew and loved her. At a sad time, you are very safe in their hands.

The service and support provided was faultless from the moment they were contacted until the day of the funeral. Julie and John at Delanoy knew that mam was a long-standing Sunderland AFC ticket holder who followed the club home and away. Knowing how much the club meant to her, on the day before her funeral, Delanoy took her on one last trip to the Stadium of Light and made a beautiful short video of the visit. This was entirely at the behest of John and Julie and was a wonderful and emotional surprise for the whole family. It meant so much to us all. Mam would have been so thrilled and delighted. If you are looking for a funeral director that cares I most definitely wouldn’t look any further than Delanoy Funeral Services. From the minute they stepped through the door in the middle of the night I instantly knew we had made the right choice. The care and compassion that Julie and John showed to the whole family truly is amazing. We discussed what arrangements we would like, and they carried out every little detail we asked for, there was never a time when we were told no, we can’t do that. Due to the expertise of Julie and John our brother Mark got the most perfect service for us to all say our goodbyes. Julie was an absolute rock to our mam (Marilyn) when we couldn’t be there, and I can’t thank her enough for this (she is an absolute super star). So, to sum this up I would say they are the definitely the best in the business. Julie's video tribute to Ron was perfect. A touching tribute to him, which he'd have loved. Julie was so innovative and imaginative in producing something with unexpected touches throughout.
