Delanoys were so sensitive in organising our Mam’s funeral. Julie and John are easy to trust. At a time when it is hard to think clearly, they take away the worry and stress by stepping you through what needs to happen. They listened and responded with tasteful suggestions. They keep in touch and are very clear on what you do and don’t need to think about. In the end, we had the most wonderful day which celebrated Mam’s life with all the people who knew and loved her. At a sad time, you are very safe in their hands.

We unexpectedly and very sadly lost my brother in May and the time he spent in the hands of Delanoy’s I know he was treated with respect and love, John went above and beyond for us as a family when visiting my brother with a little touch of spraying his aftershave in the viewing area which brought great comfort to me and my family. We cannot repay John and Julie for the amazing service provided throughout and the constant communication at any time of day which is extremely helpful for a grieving family, nothing is a bother to them. Julie created a brilliant tribute video to her favourite song that portrayed Mams life brilliantly. They drove pas Grampian Care home where Mam spent her latter years. Julie and John walked in front of the cars giving all of the wonderful staff the chance to say their final farewells. So many personal touches that made such a sad day so special and personal. This was the first experience I have personally had with Delanoy's but my mother has family ties with the company going back generations, so we knew they were a long-established and well respected company.

From the day our Dad passed right up to the day we laid him to rest they went above and beyond in making the day perfect even with a few last minute touches and surprises for the family. Delanoy Funeral Services provided truly exceptional care during such a difficult time for our family. From the very beginning, they were kind, patient, and incredibly compassionate, which made a world of difference to us.

They took the time to really listen and understand what we wanted, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about every detail. Seeing my mam in the chapel was both emotional and comforting — she looked absolutely beautiful, and her hair was done to perfection. That meant so much to us.

My husband, Bill, said he wanted a no fuss, simple funeral and that is what Delanoy arranged for us. My daughter and I have nothing but praise for the professionalism, caring and compassion shown to us by Julie and John. They were like friends we had known for a long time and nothing was a trouble. The funeral was a simple but beautiful closure to his life. My daughter and I can only compliment and recommend them, and their staff, for their support and organisation at such a sad time.
