During your saddest times Julie and John are the people you need. Julie’s incredible and genuine warmth and John’s quiet, reassuring professionalism will navigate you through this awful time. Nothing is too much trouble and no question is too silly. Always contactable you’re made to feel like you’re their only priority. We felt so fortunate to have found them and to have been able to entrust our mum to them. Everything was so beautifully, tastefully and respectfully orchestrated. The loss of a loved one is extremely hard but it helps if you receive care and support at this time. In this regard, as a family, we were so grateful for the help of John and Julie. Another fantastic service of John Delanoy and Julie from Delanoy Funeral Services myself and 3 other family members been up to durham crematorium for a direct cremation of a uncle although it was only a direct cremation it's what the deceased wanted no fuss.John brought him up in the hearse other company's where just coming in cars or vans walked him into the crematorium put flowers and photo on the coffin at no extra cost and let us even sit with our uncle for couple of mins and played music absolutely fantastic service from them.x

We as a family cannot speak highly enough of the personal, professional and respectful way John and Julie handled our Dad’s funeral.
From the day our Dad passed right up to the day we laid him to rest they went above and beyond in making the day perfect even with a few last minute touches and surprises for the family. They were extremely considerate and showed empathy throughout in what was a very difficult time for all of us and for that we will always remain extremely grateful. We cannot recommend them enough.

I am so sorry to hear this. Marilyn and I would occasionally text each other. She would keep me informed of the happenings in England. She always thought of other folks. Her last message to me ended with, "Take care pet." Just typical of her character. I am so very sad. RIP Marilyn you are an Easington Icon.
