3 years ago Delanoys provided their service for my mothers funeral and back then their service was excellent, both John and Julie provided a beautiful send off for her.
On the 14th November this year we said our goodbyes to my father and John and Julie were there to give a personal send off.
From the moment we set off it was exactly as I could imagine my father would have wanted, the little touches that they made were so lovely and thoughtful.
Myself and my family would like to thank John and Julie but also to all the staff who were very courteous, friendly and professional.
It was a difficult day but went very smoothly thanks to Delanoys funeral services.

My father passed away on the 10th of April he had a pre paid funeral plan which made my life so much easier at a terrible time. John and Julie were absolutely amazing through out the whole process and did not falter. They rang me text me and visited through out the whole process. Their attention to detail was amazing. When you are in such a vulnerable place you need someone to rely on and trust. John and Julie were those people, I felt comforted and safe under their care. I can’t find enough words to convey how appreciative we are for the arrangements Delanoy have made for Jim’s passing and funeral. They managed to turn what could have been a sad, mournful day, into a massive celebration of his life. There WERE tears, but the entire day was filled with love and happy memories, all carried out with exceptional organisation.
Losing a partner is very difficult and Jim’s passing WAS expected, and dreaded, but from walking into Delanoy’s office, on that Wednesday, talking to John and Julie, our heartache eased. We were given advice on how to deal with a death, who we needed to notify, etc.
Little did we know that we would be needing John and Julie again - at midnight that very same day. Again, they were there, guiding, listening, waiting, giving comfort to a grieving family. Every step of the process we were kept informed as to what to do, what to expect.
We can’t thank the Delanoy staff enough for the help given on that day and the following three weeks, culminating into a carefully planned, wonderful send off for Jim. You and your staff are to be commended. Everyone at the funeral service said what a joyous occasion you had arranged.

From the day our Dad passed right up to the day we laid him to rest they went above and beyond in making the day perfect even with a few last minute touches and surprises for the family. John and Julie helped my family and I through the toughest time of our lives. From day 1 they were kind, caring, compassionate although very professional. We unexpectedly and very sadly lost my brother in May and the time he spent in the hands of Delanoy’s I know he was treated with respect and love, John went above and beyond for us as a family when visiting my brother with a little touch of spraying his aftershave in the viewing area which brought great comfort to me and my family. when you loose a loved one it’s difficult to know which direction to turn, however i knew that John and Julie would give us the best care of my Mam. Julie is an absolute tower of strength and my Mam looked beautiful and at peace with Julie’s exceptional personal touch.
