We can’t thank Julie and John enough for the care and compassion they showed in organising my mother’s funeral. From our first meeting, they handled everything with sensitivity, professionalism, and genuine empathy. They guided us gently through each step, ensuring all the arrangements were exactly as my mother would have wanted. Their attention to detail, respectful communication, and support made an incredibly difficult time more bearable knowing my mother had the send off she deserved. Their communication was fantastic and consistent and nothing was a bother. Nothing felt rushed and it truly felt like they cared. The funeral included a personalised tribute video of my mother which our family will treasure forever. Thank you again x

There simply aren’t the words to express our Thanks to Julie & John. Over the past month Delanoys have gone above & beyond to ensure our Dad’s wishes were honoured. Dad was treated with dignity & the empathy shown towards us simply could not be matched. Delanoy's were absolutely exceptional throughout they gave my wife the most beautiful send off with attention to every last detail they were very supportive and caring throughout the whole process and nothing was too much for them i would like to thank John & Julie for the compassion & professionalism they showed at this devastating time also a massive thank you for the beautiful tribute video shown in church which filled the church with tears but also laughter it really was the most beautiful day for my beautiful wife!

My father passed away on the 10th of April he had a pre paid funeral plan which made my life so much easier at a terrible time. John and Julie were absolutely amazing through out the whole process and did not falter. They rang me text me and visited through out the whole process. Their attention to detail was amazing. When you are in such a vulnerable place you need someone to rely on and trust. John and Julie were those people, I felt comforted and safe under their care. My dad would have been so grateful for their support as am I.

My son sadly passed away 22 June this year after a long fight with cancer aged 2 years it was the most devastating time we have had to go through. Another fantastic service of John Delanoy and Julie from Delanoy Funeral Services myself and 3 other family members been up to durham crematorium for a direct cremation of a uncle although it was only a direct cremation it's what the deceased wanted no fuss.John brought him up in the hearse other company's where just coming in cars or vans walked him into the crematorium put flowers and photo on the coffin at no extra cost and let us even sit with our uncle for couple of mins and played music absolutely fantastic service from them.x

from the moment Delanoy's involvement began, just a few short hours after our adored Nana had peacefully passed away surrounded by love, to the time for saying a final goodbye at the funeral, everybody at Delanoys treated nana with the utmost dignity and respect. I can't recommend Delanoy's enough. John and Julie were absolutely fantastic for me and my family when organising my dad's funeral. They went above and beyond and made us feel like they genuinely cared for us. They were always just a text away to answer the miriad of questions we had and to include extra things to the service. Adding little touches like all wearing hartlepool united ties and many others, that we loved so much. The tribute video that julie made was brilliant and made sure my dad got the send off he deserved. They made our worst day as lovely as possible and we as a family will never forget it.
