My mother died late March and Delanoy did a beautiful and dignified funeral I would recommend them as being the best in the area

There simply aren’t the words to express our Thanks to Julie & John. Over the past month Delanoys have gone above & beyond to ensure our Dad’s wishes were honoured. Dad was treated with dignity & the empathy shown towards us simply could not be matched. The knowledge & care whilst arranging our Dads final journey was a huge comfort knowing if Dad was here, it would have received his approval. From their first visit to the day of the funeral, nothing was too much. We simply cannot recommend Delanoys enough, on behalf of Joe Stout’s family, Thank You from the bottom of our hearts.

My husband, Bill, said he wanted a no fuss, simple funeral and that is what Delanoy arranged for us. My daughter and I have nothing but praise for the professionalism, caring and compassion shown to us by Julie and John. They were like friends we had known for a long time and nothing was a trouble. The funeral was a simple but beautiful closure to his life. My daughter and I can only compliment and recommend them, and their staff, for their support and organisation at such a sad time.

Julie and John helped immensely with my dad’s funeral earlier this year. They were professional, patient, highly responsive, kind and generous with their time. Arranging a funeral from the other side of the county was as daunting task. John and Julie handled everything from transportation to suggestions on the wake. We wanted to take the time to say a huge Thank you to both Julie and John for the support that they have given us throughout this very difficult time. The service that they have provided since the moment we initially made that first call, up until the day of mams service has been truly outstanding. In particular the bespoke services that they offer really is second to none. We have family members who were unfortunately unable to attend mams funeral due to the current restrictions, but with the help of Julie’s personalised tributes and video footage taken on the day, this will allow them to be part of mams final journey which was so important to the family. It definitely takes a special kind of person to do what they do, consoling and supporting bereaved families but they are both truly amazing people. They act with genuine respect, care and compassion. Julie in particular works tirelessly around the clock, and despite having other families to support she has been there for us at all times which is something we cannot thank her enough for. She has been a shoulder to cry on, and has acted like a friend in what has been a very sad journey. Once again a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you have helped us give Mam the send off she deserves. Steven & Samantha x

My father recently died and Delanoys were our first choice for acting as our funeral partners. I use funeral partners rather than funeral directors because John and Julie involved the family at every step of the funeral planning. No detail was too small for them to step in and take care of, to provide the smoothest and most unobtrusive service we could possibly expect.

Delanoys don't take centre stage in the funeral, the family do; Delanoys make sure that everything is taken care of so that the family have nothing to worry about. Nothing is left to chance and the level of planning ensures the funeral is as smooth as possible, and their local knowledge and local contacts eases the pressure at an incredibly stressful time.

At the most difficult of times, John and Julie were brilliant. They were kind, thoughtful, considerate and have wonderful ideas to fill the gaps where I just didn't have a clue.

We felt so fortunate to have found them and to have been able to entrust our mum to them. Everything was so beautifully, tastefully and respectfully orchestrated.
