Another fantastic service of John Delanoy and Julie from Delanoy Funeral Services myself and 3 other family members been up to durham crematorium for a direct cremation of a uncle although it was only a direct cremation it's what the deceased wanted no fuss.John brought him up in the hearse other company's where just coming in cars or vans walked him into the crematorium put flowers and photo on the coffin at no extra cost and let us even sit with our uncle for couple of mins and played music absolutely fantastic service from them.x

John and Julie were very kind, respectful and very caring people when it comes to doing this. Yours definitely helped towards giving my nana (Alison) a great send off. 3 years ago Delanoys provided their service for my mothers funeral and back then their service was excellent, both John and Julie provided a beautiful send off for her.
On the 14th November this year we said our goodbyes to my father and John and Julie were there to give a personal send off.
From the moment we set off it was exactly as I could imagine my father would have wanted, the little touches that they made were so lovely and thoughtful.
Myself and my family would like to thank John and Julie but also to all the staff who were very courteous, friendly and professional.
It was a difficult day but went very smoothly thanks to Delanoys funeral services.

John and Julie and their team were exceptional from first contact through to the final funeral day. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone. We're do I start, suddenly we lost our precious dad on 30/07/2024, Delony were absolutely amazing from start to finish, they gave our dad the most perfect send off,they were very caring and supportive at this devastating time. I would like to thank Julie, John and the team for there compassion and professionalism, also a massive thank you for showing our dad's life at the church which made everyone cry and laugh.

John and Julie showed us great respect, professionalism and compassion at such a difficult time. They were in constant contact with the family to keep us updated with everything that was happening and went above and beyond their roles to support the family. While we were faced with delays beyond their control we were reassured that they were taking care of mam and that she was safe in their care which was a great comfort to us all.

The loss of a loved one is extremely hard but it helps if you receive care and support at this time. In this regard, as a family, we were so grateful for the help of John and Julie. They guided us through the process and came up with useful suggestions on setting up the funeral arrangements.
