We're do I start, suddenly we lost our precious dad on 30/07/2024, Delony were absolutely amazing from start to finish, they gave our dad the most perfect send off,they were very caring and supportive at this devastating time. Throughout the whole process, John and Julie were kind and considerate and were readily available to talk through arrangements and give advice. Nothing troubled them. They responded positively to all our family requests and their sensitive approach and attention to detail was greatly appreciated. On the day of the funeral, they and their team were highly supportive. Their dignity, expertise and professionalism shone through. On behalf of the family of the late Margaret Gillespie I would like to thank John, Julie and all their staff for the support they gave to us after the passing of our Aunty. Aunty Margaret died in North Tees Hospital and she was buried in Kilcar, Co. Donegal, Fire.
John and Julie organised and advised us on the funeral arrangements here with thoughtfulness and compassion.
We were kept informed of Aunty Margaret's repatriation throughout on her journey back to Ireland. For all of this we are truly grateful.

During your saddest times Julie and John are the people you need. Julie’s incredible and genuine warmth and John’s quiet, reassuring professionalism will navigate you through this awful time. Nothing is too much trouble and no question is too silly. Always contactable you’re made to feel like you’re their only priority. We felt so fortunate to have found them and to have been able to entrust our mum to them. Everything was so beautifully, tastefully and respectfully orchestrated. We could not have been more pleased with how the day went and we cannot thank them enough.

We wanted to take the time to say a huge Thank you to both Julie and John for the support that they have given us throughout this very difficult time.
The service that they have provided since the moment we initially made that first call, up until the day of mams service has been truly outstanding.
In particular the bespoke services that they offer really is second to none.
We have family members who were unfortunately unable to attend mams funeral due to the current restrictions, but with the help of Julie’s personalised tributes and video footage taken on the day, this will allow them to be part of mams final journey which was so important to the family.
It definitely takes a special kind of person to do what they do, consoling and supporting bereaved families but they are both truly amazing people. They act with genuine respect, care and compassion.
Julie in particular works tirelessly around the clock, and despite having other families to support she has been there for us at all times which is something we cannot thank her enough for.
She has been a shoulder to cry on, and has acted like a friend in what has been a very sad journey.
Once again a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you have helped us give Mam the send off she deserves.

A very local and personable service at emotional time. Different options were shared which helped fill me with assurance. The actual time at the crematorium was as we discussed and the service was undertaken with passion and dignity.

Following the death of our mam, Betty Johnson, John and Julie were there to help us at every stage. They provided a very caring, compassionate and professional service for all our family, which helped us during our most difficult times. Just want to say a massive thank you to John and Julie for making sure my Grandma had the send off she deserved. The first time we met John and Julie we felt as though they were our friends, nothing was to much, any questions we had they got back to us immediately and it was so comforting knowing my Grandma was in the hands of two of the loveliest people me and my family have ever met.
