We wanted to take the time to say a huge Thank you to both Julie and John for the support that they have given us throughout this very difficult time.
The service that they have provided since the moment we initially made that first call, up until the day of mams service has been truly outstanding.
In particular the bespoke services that they offer really is second to none.
We have family members who were unfortunately unable to attend mams funeral due to the current restrictions, but with the help of Julie’s personalised tributes and video footage taken on the day, this will allow them to be part of mams final journey which was so important to the family.
It definitely takes a special kind of person to do what they do, consoling and supporting bereaved families but they are both truly amazing people. They act with genuine respect, care and compassion.
Julie in particular works tirelessly around the clock, and despite having other families to support she has been there for us at all times which is something we cannot thank her enough for.
She has been a shoulder to cry on, and has acted like a friend in what has been a very sad journey.
Once again a huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you have helped us give Mam the send off she deserves.

Julie spoke to my girls a couple of days ago to see if they were okay and they made it very special by including a video for memories they made the girls included in the video showing there necklaces of their mam what a lovely touch they are the best and always looked out for us 5 star service!

This is a really difficult review to write and one I wish I didn't have to. Having lost our 20 year old son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend in unexpected and heartbreaking circumstances, we were completely unprepared and overwhelmed with the task of ensuring we could provide the very best send off he so rightly deserved.

John Delanoy stepped in and immediately understood what our requirements were. He worked closely with us and liased with other parties involved with the arrangements on our behalf. This helped reduce the burden we were facing at a time when empathy, patience and compassion were needed the most.

We cannot express our gratitude enough to John and his team. We have recently moved a family members pre-paid Golden Charter plan to Delanoy Funeral Services Ltd from another local provider. We have done this as we know that the care and level of compassion we received are unparalleled and unlikely to be matched.

When our Mam Margaret died 18 months ago, John looked after us and took care of all the arrangements. We recently lost our Dad Henry and again we turned to Delanoy’s Funeral Services because we knew we would receive a professional service. Due to Covid we knew things had to be done differently and both John and Julie gently steered us through every detail. Julie’s approach to making it a special celebration of Dad’s life really worked and she arranged for brass band members to play as Dad began his final journey – something he would have loved.

Excellent service beginning with collection of Adrian from hospital to preparing him for the chapel of rest. Then the personal touches leaving the coffin overnight at his home. The funeral cortège to the crematorium then the service. Special tributes, photograph display and the humanists eulogy of Adrian’s life.

Delanoys were so sensitive in organising our Mam’s funeral. Julie and John are easy to trust.
