Your professional approach, patience and knowledge allowed dad to have the funeral he and mam had planned. Using a local funeral director who has supported our family for generations made it so personal for us all and you fully understood what we wanted to achieve. The service and support provided was faultless from the moment they were contacted until the day of the funeral. Julie and John at Delanoy knew that mam was a long-standing Sunderland AFC ticket holder who followed the club home and away. Knowing how much the club meant to her, on the day before her funeral, Delanoy took her on one last trip to the Stadium of Light and made a beautiful short video of the visit. This was entirely at the behest of John and Julie and was a wonderful and emotional surprise for the whole family. It meant so much to us all. Mam would have been so thrilled and delighted. Known you from day dot… brought up like family on holidays outings etc… sending love to all the family… passed the same day as dad. They’ll be propping the bar up somewhere together 🍻💔🕊️

Had some right laughs with Daz. He was there to witness some of my most embarrassing moments on the drink (his fault 😆) top lad who's gone far too soon. Rest well mate.
