Another fantastic service of John Delanoy and Julie from Delanoy Funeral Services myself and 3 other family members been up to durham crematorium for a direct cremation of a uncle although it was only a direct cremation it's what the deceased wanted no fuss.John brought him up in the hearse other company's where just coming in cars or vans walked him into the crematorium put flowers and photo on the coffin at no extra cost and let us even sit with our uncle for couple of mins and played music absolutely fantastic service from them.x

From the day our Dad passed right up to the day we laid him to rest they went above and beyond in making the day perfect even with a few last minute touches and surprises for the family. I am so sorry to hear this. Marilyn and I would occasionally text each other. She would keep me informed of the happenings in England. She always thought of other folks. Her last message to me ended with, "Take care pet." Just typical of her character. I am so very sad. RIP Marilyn you are an Easington Icon.
