from the moment Delanoy's involvement began, just a few short hours after our adored Nana had peacefully passed away surrounded by love, to the time for saying a final goodbye at the funeral, everybody at Delanoys treated nana with the utmost dignity and respect. Ensuring that they were compassionate and supportive in every interaction we had with them. Thankyou to all for making sure that our family were supported and informed so professionally, and allowing us to have time to navigate one of the most difficult parts of life with the comfort and assurance that allowed this to be as worry-free as possible.

We wanted to take the time to say a huge Thank you to both Julie and John for the support that they have given us throughout this very difficult time. The service that they have provided since the moment we initially made that first call, up until the day of mams service has been truly outstanding. In particular the bespoke services that they offer really is second to none. We have family members who were unfortunately unable to attend mams funeral due to the current restrictions, but with the help of Julie’s personalised tributes and video footage taken on the day, this will allow them to be part of mams final journey which was so important to the family. It definitely takes a special kind of person to do what they do, consoling and supporting bereaved families but they are both truly amazing people. They act with genuine respect, care and compassion. Julie in particular works tirelessly around the clock, and despite having other families to support she has been there for us at all times which is something we cannot thank her enough for. She has been a shoulder to cry on, and has acted like a friend in what has been a very sad journey. Speaking on behalf of all my family aswell as myself from the moment I called Julie to let her know that my mother had sadly passed away after a very short illness that shocked us all I knew I was dealing with a very caring and compassionate lady.
Our minds were definitely put at ease as I’ve never had to deal with anything like this before.
Both John & Julie kept us informed letting us know every step of the way from collecting my mother from the hospital and preparing her for us to visit her in the chapel of rest and She looked absolutely amazing.
The floral tributes we chose were absolutely beautiful and Julie gave us various options to choose from and excellent advice on what to go for and what not to go for.
On the day of the funeral the cars all turned up and we’re absolutely gleaming and john & Julie came over shook our hands and gave us some lovely calming words and loving smiles which made us feel comfortable knowing that we were celebrating the life of mam.

Another fantastic service of John Delanoy and Julie from Delanoy Funeral Services myself and 3 other family members been up to durham crematorium for a direct cremation of a uncle although it was only a direct cremation it's what the deceased wanted no fuss.John brought him up in the hearse other company's where just coming in cars or vans walked him into the crematorium put flowers and photo on the coffin at no extra cost and let us even sit with our uncle for couple of mins and played music absolutely fantastic service from them.x
