John and Julie and the whole team at Delanoy Funeral Services were absolutely excellent. They made a very difficult time as easy as possible with a first class, friendly, sympathetic and respectful service.
Julie's video tribute to Ron was perfect. A touching tribute to him, which he'd have loved. Julie was so innovative and imaginative in producing something with unexpected touches throughout.
This was the first experience I have personally had with Delanoy's but my mother has family ties with the company going back generations, so we knew they were a long-established and well respected company.
They were very responsive. Prompt and accomodating of everything we wanted. Both of us would highly recommend their service to anyone.

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for a long time but like everything life got in the way. Even though it was over a year ago now we have not forgotten how kindly we were treated. We cannot thank John and Delanoys enough for the compassion, care and guidance he gave us as a family when my Dad suddenly passed away. Especially as it happened while on holiday in Blackpool. With the added worry of getting his body home and the red tape involved, John guided us through the process. He was on hand to answer questions and it was the personal touches that made his service exceptional. He went above and beyond.

I will never forget the kindness he showed us during our bereavement , he sorted everything, from collecting our loved one to organising the funeral, flowers , service , food taking all the stress from the Family ,we didnt have to think about anything. Then beyond that arranging the burial of my Brothers ashes and arranging for his plaque to be made . John spoke to us every day not only to check on arrangements but to check in on how we were . We wanted to take the time to say a huge Thank you to both Julie and John for the support that they have given us throughout this very difficult time. The service that they have provided since the moment we initially made that first call, up until the day of mams service has been truly outstanding. In particular the bespoke services that they offer really is second to none. We have family members who were unfortunately unable to attend mams funeral due to the current restrictions, but with the help of Julie’s personalised tributes and video footage taken on the day, this will allow them to be part of mams final journey which was so important to the family. It definitely takes a special kind of person to do what they do, consoling and supporting bereaved families but they are both truly amazing people. They act with genuine respect, care and compassion. Julie in particular works tirelessly around the clock, and despite having other families to support she has been there for us at all times which is something we cannot thank her enough for. She has been a shoulder to cry on, and has acted like a friend in what has been a very sad journey. From the day our Dad passed right up to the day we laid him to rest they went above and beyond in making the day perfect even with a few last minute touches and surprises for the family.
