Julie's video tribute to Ron was perfect. A touching tribute to him, which he'd have loved. Julie was so innovative and imaginative in producing something with unexpected touches throughout.
This was the first experience I have personally had with Delanoy's but my mother has family ties with the company going back generations, so we knew they were a long-established and well respected company.
They were very responsive. Prompt and accomodating of everything we wanted. Both of us would highly recommend their service to anyone.

Another fantastic service of John Delanoy and Julie from Delanoy Funeral Services myself and 3 other family members been up to durham crematorium for a direct cremation of a uncle although it was only a direct cremation it's what the deceased wanted no fuss.John brought him up in the hearse other company's where just coming in cars or vans walked him into the crematorium put flowers and photo on the coffin at no extra cost and let us even sit with our uncle for couple of mins and played music absolutely fantastic service from them.x

We cannot thank John, Julie and their staff enough for all their help, kindness, compassion and understanding. They helped make a very heartbreaking time a little easier. Natalie’s pink coffin was beautiful and just what we wanted for her and the pink ties worn by John and Julie were a lovely, unexpected addition. We were also touched by the lovely post on their Facebook page, helping to share our sad news.

A very local and personable service at emotional time. Different options were shared which helped fill me with assurance. The actual time at the crematorium was as we discussed and the service was undertaken with passion and dignity.

I can't recommend Delanoy's enough. John and Julie were absolutely fantastic for me and my family when organising my dad's funeral. They went above and beyond and made us feel like they genuinely cared for us. They were always just a text away to answer the miriad of questions we had and to include extra things to the service. Adding little touches like all wearing hartlepool united ties and many others, that we loved so much. The tribute video that julie made was brilliant and made sure my dad got the send off he deserved. They made our worst day as lovely as possible and we as a family will never forget it. Delanoy Funeral Services provided truly exceptional care during such a difficult time for our family. From the very beginning, they were kind, patient, and incredibly compassionate, which made a world of difference to us.

They took the time to really listen and understand what we wanted, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about every detail. Seeing my mam in the chapel was both emotional and comforting, she looked absolutely beautiful, and her hair was done to perfection. That meant so much to us.

At the most difficult of times, John and Julie were brilliant. They were kind, thoughtful, considerate and have wonderful ideas to fill the gaps where I just didn't have a clue.

We're do I start, suddenly we lost our precious dad on 30/07/2024, Delony were absolutely amazing from start to finish, they gave our dad the most perfect send off,they were very caring and supportive at this devastating time. My partner david got taken to Sunderland Royal hospital and passed away on the 20th July with cancer he hadn't had it very long but we all knew how bad he was getting the service john and julie gave for david was above and beyond the kindness they showed me and my family at the sad time the celebrant with her kind words also the roses gone on David's hearse.Hes now laid to rest and not in pain
