Julie's video tribute to Ron was perfect. A touching tribute to him, which he'd have loved. Julie was so innovative and imaginative in producing something with unexpected touches throughout.
This was the first experience I have personally had with Delanoy's but my mother has family ties with the company going back generations, so we knew they were a long-established and well respected company.

The service and support provided was faultless from the moment they were contacted until the day of the funeral. Julie and John at Delanoy knew that mam was a long-standing Sunderland AFC ticket holder who followed the club home and away. Knowing how much the club meant to her, on the day before her funeral, Delanoy took her on one last trip to the Stadium of Light and made a beautiful short video of the visit. This was entirely at the behest of John and Julie and was a wonderful and emotional surprise for the whole family. It meant so much to us all. Mam would have been so thrilled and delighted. When I was a little boy in Peterlee our neighbours round the corner was I think Jackie Horner but after 70 years thats probably wrong but I know he worked at the pit and his wife was a window dresser in a shop in Hartlepool,could it be Joe's parents?Any upset I may cause I do apologise.

So sorry to be reading this. A lady Sew it All had the pleasure of doing clothing alterations for and often in my thoughts. A very inspirational lady always had words of wisdom and wonderful stories to tell, never failed to have a laugh with Dorothy. Wake up on a morning and say "right, ive not lived this day before let's see what its got in store " god bless you dorothy 🙏 Deepest condolences to the the family.
