nothing was too much trouble from the service to the flowers everything was taken care of so we didnt have to lovely staff this is our second time using Delanoy wouldnt go anywhere else

Arranging a funeral from the other side of the county was as daunting task. John and Julie handled everything from transportation to suggestions on the wake. We cannot thank them enough they turned our sadness into something special to remember. I would like to thank John and Julie for the amazing service they provided for our baby, Jude. Everything was perfect and they went above and beyond to make it even more special than we expected . They both showed care, compassion and empathy, they are both genuinely lovely people. They are both Earth angels and we will be forever grateful for everything they did for us at the hardest time of our lives.

Having never gone through losing a loved one before I called delanoy for there help & they were at my home within the hour, they were there for me in my hour of need with such compassion yet professionalism, they were always in touch throughout the whole process of arranging my husbands funeral constantly checking in & making sure I was ok! Speaking on behalf of all my family aswell as myself from the moment I called Julie to let her know that my mother had sadly passed away after a very short illness that shocked us all I knew I was dealing with a very caring and compassionate lady.
Our minds were definitely put at ease as I’ve never had to deal with anything like this before.
Both John & Julie kept us informed letting us know every step of the way from collecting my mother from the hospital and preparing her for us to visit her in the chapel of rest and She looked absolutely amazing.
The floral tributes we chose were absolutely beautiful and Julie gave us various options to choose from and excellent advice on what to go for and what not to go for.
On the day of the funeral the cars all turned up and we’re absolutely gleaming and john & Julie came over shook our hands and gave us some lovely calming words and loving smiles which made us feel comfortable knowing that we were celebrating the life of mam.

We all know that death is inevitable but when it happens to one of our loved ones our world falls apart, our hearts break and we are left feeling devastated and lost. Julie and John at Delanoy funeral services were there for us at this most terrifying time to help us with our loss and sort out the funeral of our dad with love, care and empathy. Julie and John treated our dad like one of their own family and we could not have put our trust in any one better. They looked after my dad and saw that he was treated in death, with the respect that he deserved. They nurtured my bereaved mum and our family with kindness, patience and the utmost professionalism. They took time to explain procedures and gave us options in how we wanted to celebrate the life of our dad and honour his memory. Everything was taken care of and we knew what to expect at all times. Julie and John went over and above to ensure that dad’s service was a testimonial to the life he lived and even organised a bespoke floral tribute to reflect his love of gardening. A very local and personable service at emotional time. Different options were shared which helped fill me with assurance. The actual time at the crematorium was as we discussed and the service was undertaken with passion and dignity.

from the moment Delanoy's involvement began, just a few short hours after our adored Nana had peacefully passed away surrounded by love, to the time for saying a final goodbye at the funeral, everybody at Delanoys treated nana with the utmost dignity and respect. Ensuring that they were compassionate and supportive in every interaction we had with them.
