From the moment our mam passed away, John & Julie have been there to support and respect our mam’s last wishes every single day. The care and compassion shown has been exceptional to ourselves and our family. Delanoy thrived to ensure our mams final farewell was personalised and fulfilled to the fine details.
The video that was created provided precious and lasting memories for ourselves, grandchildren and great children.

Delanoys were so sensitive in organising our Mam’s funeral. Julie and John are easy to trust. At a time when it is hard to think clearly, they take away the worry and stress by stepping you through what needs to happen. They listened and responded with tasteful suggestions. They keep in touch and are very clear on what you do and don’t need to think about. In the end, we had the most wonderful day which celebrated Mam’s life with all the people who knew and loved her. At a sad time, you are very safe in their hands.

Julie Stout at Delanoy Funeral Services couldn't have made Daves last journey home any better, the time and effort to make his funeral beautiful I can't thank you enough you have gone beyond anyone else, you even took the flowers with us and put them on Dave's mam and dad's grave so they have both their boy's now Chris and Dave. We unexpectedly and very sadly lost my brother in May and the time he spent in the hands of Delanoy’s I know he was treated with respect and love, John went above and beyond for us as a family when visiting my brother with a little touch of spraying his aftershave in the viewing area which brought great comfort to me and my family. We as a family cannot speak highly enough of the personal, professional and respectful way John and Julie handled our Dad’s funeral.
From the day our Dad passed right up to the day we laid him to rest they went above and beyond in making the day perfect even with a few last minute touches and surprises for the family. They were extremely considerate and showed empathy throughout in what was a very difficult time for all of us and for that we will always remain extremely grateful. We cannot recommend them enough.

This morning, we said goodbye to Mark Jepson “Jeppa” a much loved and dedicated Sunderland supporter.

Mark sadly passed away just two months after losing his mother, and we felt it was only right to give him a memorable send-off that was personal to him and reflected the love so many had for him.

I am so sorry to hear this. Marilyn and I would occasionally text each other. She would keep me informed of the happenings in England. She always thought of other folks. Her last message to me ended with, "Take care pet." Just typical of her character. I am so very sad. RIP Marilyn you are an Easington Icon.
