I can't recommend Delanoy's enough. John and Julie were absolutely fantastic for me and my family when organising my dad's funeral. They went above and beyond and made us feel like they genuinely cared for us. They were always just a text away to answer the miriad of questions we had and to include extra things to the service. Adding little touches like all wearing hartlepool united ties and many others, that we loved so much. The tribute video that julie made was brilliant and made sure my dad got the send off he deserved. They made our worst day as lovely as possible and we as a family will never forget it. Julie's video tribute to Ron was perfect. A touching tribute to him, which he'd have loved. Julie was so innovative and imaginative in producing something with unexpected touches throughout.

My family cannot speak highly enough of the kind, caring and empathetic service Delanoy Funeral Services provided to us all following the death of our beloved mam. The service and support provided was faultless from the moment they were contacted until the day of the funeral. Julie and John at Delanoy knew that mam was a long-standing Sunderland AFC ticket holder who followed the club home and away. Knowing how much the club meant to her, on the day before her funeral, Delanoy took her on one last trip to the Stadium of Light and made a beautiful short video of the visit. This was entirely at the behest of John and Julie and was a wonderful and emotional surprise for the whole family. It meant so much to us all. Mam would have been so thrilled and delighted. Thank you John and Julie. You are a credit to your profession.

My partner david got taken to Sunderland Royal hospital and passed away on the 20th July with cancer he hadn't had it very long but we all knew how bad he was getting the service john and julie gave for david was above and beyond the kindness they showed me and my family at the sad time the celebrant with her kind words also the roses gone on David's hearse.Hes now laid to rest and not in pain

Delanoys were so sensitive in organising our Mam’s funeral. Julie and John are easy to trust. At a time when it is hard to think clearly, they take away the worry and stress by stepping you through what needs to happen. They listened and responded with tasteful suggestions. They keep in touch and are very clear on what you do and don’t need to think about. In the end, we had the most wonderful day which celebrated Mam’s life with all the people who knew and loved her. At a sad time, you are very safe in their hands.

3 years ago Delanoys provided their service for my mothers funeral and back then their service was excellent, both John and Julie provided a beautiful send off for her.
On the 14th November this year we said our goodbyes to my father and John and Julie were there to give a personal send off.
From the moment we set off it was exactly as I could imagine my father would have wanted, the little touches that they made were so lovely and thoughtful.
Myself and my family would like to thank John and Julie but also to all the staff who were very courteous, friendly and professional.
