when you loose a loved one it’s difficult to know which direction to turn, however i knew that John and Julie would give us the best care of my Mam. Julie is an absolute tower of strength and my Mam looked beautiful and at peace with Julie’s exceptional personal touch.
Even though my Dad and I were planning for one of the hardest days of our lives John and Julie made us smile with shared memories of our and their family.

From the moment we engaged Delanoy Funeral Services the attention given to us as a family was not only professional but personal. Throughout the entire process John and Julie supported us beyond what we could have ever expected. There was no question too big or too small. Every detail was impeccable from the passing of Fred to laying him to rest. The personal touches given by John and Julie put us all at ease - they went above and beyond especially on the day of the funeral, making sure every element was perfect.
The effort in the background ensured that we had nothing to worry about as we could trust it was all being dealt with which took a lot of the worry away in what was a very difficult time for us as a family. The flowers were all just perfect, the order of service exactly as we requested and on the day of the funeral we could not have asked for anything more.
From the bottom of our hearts we will be forever grateful of the amazing support and service.

From the minute they stepped through the door in the middle of the night I instantly knew we had made the right choice. The care and compassion that Julie and John showed to the whole family truly is amazing. We discussed what arrangements we would like, and they carried out every little detail we asked for, there was never a time when we were told no, we can’t do that. Due to the expertise of Julie and John our brother Mark got the most perfect service for us to all say our goodbyes. Julie was an absolute rock to our mam (Marilyn) when we couldn’t be there, and I can’t thank her enough for this (she is an absolute super star). The service from the team at Delanoy Funeral Services was superb from the initial contact right up to the actual service. The courtesy and dignity displayed throughout was second to none. They went above and beyond to create a celebration of my dad's life, encapsulating every aspect of it in a beautiful way, including a beautiful video tribute, which was well met by everyone who attended. They also looked after us ensuring we didn't have to do anything, as it was all looked after for us, allowing us to be part of the service and allowing us to grieve, in our own way, and say goodbye.

The future arrived, we lost our mum in January and immediately contacted Julie and John. Once again they were superb. My mum got a fabulous send off, as good as, if not better than my dad's. Excellent service beginning with collection of Adrian from hospital to preparing him for the chapel of rest. Then the personal touches leaving the coffin overnight at his home. The funeral cortège to the crematorium then the service. Special tributes, photograph display and the humanists eulogy of Adrian’s life.

The loss of a loved one is extremely hard but it helps if you receive care and support at this time. In this regard, as a family, we were so grateful for the help of John and Julie. They guided us through the process and came up with useful suggestions on setting up the funeral arrangements. Everyone we spoke to afterwards were complimentary on the service, in particular, the video of a life well spent by dad (jack). Our thanks to John and Julie for making a difficult day bearable and providing our family with memories of dad which will never go away.
