Another fantastic service of John Delanoy and Julie from Delanoy Funeral Services myself and 3 other family members been up to durham crematorium for a direct cremation of a uncle although it was only a direct cremation it's what the deceased wanted no fuss.John brought him up in the hearse other company's where just coming in cars or vans walked him into the crematorium put flowers and photo on the coffin at no extra cost and let us even sit with our uncle for couple of mins and played music absolutely fantastic service from them.x

During the circumstances we find ourselves in at the moment, I would like to thank John Delanoy for the way Delanoys looked after my Dad Micky Solan after he sadly passed away.
So very professional, thoughtful and kind was John, he made what was a heartbreaking time for our family that little bit more bearable.

We wanted to take the time to say a huge Thank you to both Julie and John for the support that they have given us throughout this very difficult time. The service that they have provided since the moment we initially made that first call, up until the day of mams service has been truly outstanding. In particular the bespoke services that they offer really is second to none. We have family members who were unfortunately unable to attend mams funeral due to the current restrictions, but with the help of Julie’s personalised tributes and video footage taken on the day, this will allow them to be part of mams final journey which was so important to the family. It definitely takes a special kind of person to do what they do, consoling and supporting bereaved families but they are both truly amazing people. They act with genuine respect, care and compassion. Julie in particular works tirelessly around the clock, and despite having other families to support she has been there for us at all times which is something we cannot thank her enough for. She has been a shoulder to cry on, and has acted like a friend in what has been a very sad journey. Delanoys were so sensitive in organising our Mam’s funeral. Julie and John are easy to trust. At a time when it is hard to think clearly, they take away the worry and stress by stepping you through what needs to happen. They listened and responded with tasteful suggestions. They keep in touch and are very clear on what you do and don’t need to think about. In the end, we had the most wonderful day which celebrated Mam’s life with all the people who knew and loved her. At a sad time, you are very safe in their hands.

John and Julie provided an excellent service and gave Lynn the funeral that she wanted. Thanks for everything and for making the day more bearable! x

when you loose a loved one it’s difficult to know which direction to turn, however i knew that John and Julie would give us the best care of my Mam. Julie is an absolute tower of strength and my Mam looked beautiful and at peace with Julie’s exceptional personal touch.
