Another fantastic service of John Delanoy and Julie from Delanoy Funeral Services myself and 3 other family members been up to durham crematorium for a direct cremation of a uncle although it was only a direct cremation it's what the deceased wanted no fuss.John brought him up in the hearse other company's where just coming in cars or vans walked him into the crematorium put flowers and photo on the coffin at no extra cost and let us even sit with our uncle for couple of mins and played music absolutely fantastic service from them.x

At the most difficult of times, John and Julie were brilliant. They were kind, thoughtful, considerate and have wonderful ideas to fill the gaps where I just didn't have a clue. If you find yourself needing their services, then you will be in amazing hands.

We as a family would like to say a massive thank to Julie & John at Delanoy for their fantastic service comfort and compassion whilst trying come to terms with the loss of our Dad.
They really went above and beyond on so many occasions.

My father passed away on the 10th of April he had a pre paid funeral plan which made my life so much easier at a terrible time. John and Julie were absolutely amazing through out the whole process and did not falter. They rang me text me and visited through out the whole process. Their attention to detail was amazing. When you are in such a vulnerable place you need someone to rely on and trust. John and Julie were those people, I felt comforted and safe under their care. We all know that death is inevitable but when it happens to one of our loved ones our world falls apart, our hearts break and we are left feeling devastated and lost. Julie and John at Delanoy funeral services were there for us at this most terrifying time to help us with our loss and sort out the funeral of our dad with love, care and empathy. Julie and John treated our dad like one of their own family and we could not have put our trust in any one better. They looked after my dad and saw that he was treated in death, with the respect that he deserved. They nurtured my bereaved mum and our family with kindness, patience and the utmost professionalism. They took time to explain procedures and gave us options in how we wanted to celebrate the life of our dad and honour his memory. Everything was taken care of and we knew what to expect at all times. Julie and John went over and above to ensure that dad’s service was a testimonial to the life he lived and even organised a bespoke floral tribute to reflect his love of gardening. Although our hearts were breaking, Julie and John were there to kindly support us through this difficult time and ensure that our final goodbye to him was perfect. Having never gone through losing a loved one before I called delanoy for there help & they were at my home within the hour, they were there for me in my hour of need with such compassion yet professionalism, they were always in touch throughout the whole process of arranging my husbands funeral constantly checking in & making sure I was ok!
