They guided and supported my family through the process after a sudden loss. From the first meeting they were incredibly helpful and respectful. Julie kept in frequent contact with myself to ensure we had everything that we needed and herself and John arrived early on the day of the funeral, to allow our family to check we were happy with everything.
The chapel of rest at Delanoy is beautiful and Julie was incredibly accommodating on the lead up and during our visit.
Receiving the ashes back was very quick and Julie and John were happy to deliver without any extra charges.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care and support we received from Delanoy Funeral Services following the death of my mum.
From the very beginning, they were exceptional in every way. Their communication was brilliant, and at a time when everything can feel completely overwhelming, they calmly and compassionately guided us through the entire process. Everything was clearly explained, including the different options available for the coffin, flowers, burial plot and refreshments afterwards. Nothing ever felt rushed or impersonal, and we always felt that we could ask questions or seek advice.
What touched me most, however, was the genuine care, dignity and respect with which they treated my mum. They helped me to visit her in the Chapel of Rest and made what was an incredibly difficult and emotional experience as gentle as it possibly could be. They also arranged for me to have some clippings of Mum’s hair as a keepsake—something very small perhaps, but something that means an enormous amount to me and that I will treasure for the rest of my life.
The care taken with Mum’s appearance was also incredibly moving. Her hair and make-up had been done beautifully and sensitively, and she looked peaceful and cared for. Seeing her treated with such tenderness, dignity and respect brought me a great deal of comfort.
Throughout the whole process, and on the day of Mum’s funeral itself on 15th September, we were treated with nothing but kindness, empathy, professionalism and genuine compassion. At what has undoubtedly been the most difficult period of my life, knowing that my mum was being looked after by people who genuinely cared made an enormous difference.
There are some professions where simply doing the job well is not enough; it is the humanity, compassion and kindness shown alongside it that people remember. I will always remember the way Mum and our family were treated.
I am deeply grateful for everything they did for us and would recommend them without hesitation to any family needing someone they can trust to care for their loved one with dignity, respect and genuine compassion.

I would like to say how well John and Julie and her team ! Took care of my mam ! Margery ! She looked absolutely beautiful! Like a sleeping angel ! The kindness towards myself when I went to see my mother I will never forget ! The compassion and kindness was absolutely priceless!
