With a family business going back over 120 years in the area, John Delanoy got together with Julie Stout from Just Out Marketing to form a new concept in funeral services. This initially started out as John employing Julie Stout’s services to help families give their loved ones a better send off during the Coronavirus out break. However, many families loved the unique and special services which were being offered, therefore John and Julie decided to get together and form Delanoy Funeral Services as a joint venture to ensure families could give their loved ones the best possible send-off, during and after Coronavirus.

As funeral directors in Peterlee, Easington and the surrounding areas, the business has grown and grew from strength to strength.

My husband, Bill, said he wanted a no fuss, simple funeral and that is what Delanoy arranged for us. My daughter and I have nothing but praise for the professionalism, caring and compassion shown to us by Julie and John. They were like friends we had known for a long time and nothing was a trouble. The funeral was a simple but beautiful closure to his life. My daughter and I can only compliment and recommend them, and their staff, for their support and organisation at such a sad time.
