During a time when many people could not have the funeral service they would wish for. We have seen our community come together in a way which has not been seen for many years.
As Funeral Directors, we decided to do things differently and look back on old traditions to ensure our families gave their loved ones the send-off they would have wished for.
Funerals have left homes in Peterlee, Horden, Easington, Trimdon, Shotton and the surrounding areas with people lining the streets to say their final farewells.
A lot of this footage was captured for the families to keep for years to come and look back on. It was important to us that we adapted to these times, ensuring we gave the people from our community best possible send-off for their loved ones.
Funeral Directors Video
The video below was created to show what amazing community spirit we have had, during the period of lockdown and coronavirus. During these times we all had to find new ways of doing things. Funeral Directors were certainly no different, we choose to do things differently to ensure our communities families which came to R Delanoy & Son got the best possible send-off. Furthermore going forward we are going to continue using some of these old traditions combining them with new ones.
