The original company has been trading since 1891, back in 2020 John Delanoy and Julie Stout re-launched the business together with a new modern approach to funerals.
John Delanoy had worked in the funeral industry since the age of 16. He joined forces with Julie who had over 25 years of experience in the marketing and production industry to give a different approach to funerals.
Since joining together the business has gone from strength to strength, winning many awards and receiving lots of heartfelt reviews from members of the public.
Undertakers re-investing in the future
Both John and Julie understand the importance of giving families the best possible send-off. They have re-invested a lot of the money back into the business since joining forces.
Now owning their own beautiful Jaguar fleet consisting of a Hearse, 2 Limousines, a smaller Jaguar XF car and two private ambulances. With now 3 branches one in Peterlee and two in Easington, they plan to extend the business further over the forthcoming years.
However, the families are at the heart of what they do and offering a more personalised service is a priority. Each person is different and they both strongly believe that the funeral should be individual to that person.
